Wana Kijiji ("we," "us," or "our") has established this privacy policy ("this Policy") to explain how we handle user information in our app "Octane 2.0 plus" ("the App"). Please read this Policy before using the App.
In this Policy, "user information" means information about you or your device that we, or the recipients listed in Section 5, obtain through your use of the App.
1. Who we are
Name: Wana Kijiji Apps
2. Scope
This Policy applies to both the mobile app and the web version of the App.
3. Information we collect and how we collect it
We collect the information listed below. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or similar details unless you enter them when you contact us.
- Anonymous user ID: An ID that Google's Firebase Authentication creates automatically the first time you open the App. It is not linked to your name or email address.
- App data: Your settings and the content you save in the App. We store it, linked to your anonymous user ID, in the cloud service we use (Google Cloud Firestore).
- Usage and device information: How you use the App (such as the screens you view, the features you use, the App's language setting, and errors that occur) and information about your device (such as its model, operating system, language, approximate region, and the App version). Google Analytics for Firebase, which is built into the App, collects this automatically and sends it linked to your anonymous user ID. The web version uses cookies and similar technologies.
- Benchmark results and device specifications: Collected only if you choose to submit your results on the results screen. This includes your scores and your device's manufacturer, model, operating system and version, CPU, and memory.
- Inquiries: The name, email address, and message you send through the contact form, along with the App's language setting. To prevent spam, we also record the type of device or browser you send it from (the user agent) and a value calculated from your IP address (a hash). If you contact us by email, we receive the contents of that email.
4. How we use information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- To provide the App's features, including saving your settings and content and restoring them the next time you open the App
- To publish benchmark results as a ranking
- To analyze how the App is used, so we can improve it and develop new features
- To prevent abuse and spam
- To respond to your inquiries
5. Information sent to third parties
The App uses services from the companies listed below, and the information described for each is sent to them. Each company handles that information according to its own privacy policy. These companies may process information on servers outside Japan, such as in the United States.
Firebase (Google LLC)
- Information sent: Your anonymous user ID, app data, content made public as described in Section 6, and inquiries
- Purpose: We use Firebase as the cloud service that stores and processes our data (including Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore, and Cloud Functions). Inquiries are also sent to our email address through Google's Gmail to notify us.
- Privacy policy: https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy
Google Analytics for Firebase (Google LLC)
In addition, the App loads the maps, images, data, and other content it displays from our servers and from the servers of the organizations and companies that publish that content. Because of how the internet works, these servers receive your IP address, the type of device or browser you use, and the data requested (for maps, the area you are viewing).
Except as required by law, we do not provide user information to any third party other than those described in this section.
6. Information that is made public
If you use the following features, the content will be visible to others.
- Benchmark results: Results you submit (scores and device specifications) are published as a ranking that anyone can view. We do not publish your name or any other information that identifies you personally.
Other than this, we do not make the information we collect public.
7. Your choices and deletion requests
- Stopping transmissions: The App itself has no setting for stopping the information it sends. To stop it, stop using the App and uninstall it (for the web version, close the page).
- Deletion requests: The App does not have a feature for deleting all of your saved data. Uninstalling the App does not delete the data stored in our cloud service. If you would like your data deleted, please contact us at the address in Section 9. We will delete it to the extent that we can identify it.
8. Retention and security
We keep information stored in our cloud service for as long as it is needed to provide the App, and delete it when we receive a deletion request or when it is no longer needed. Information stored by each third-party company is kept according to that company's own policies.
Access to your app data is restricted so that only your anonymous user ID can read or write it (except for content made public as described in Section 6).
9. Contact us
If you have any comments, questions, complaints, or deletion requests regarding this Policy or how we handle user information, please contact us at the email address below.
Email: info@aroundit.net
10. Changes to this Policy
We review how we handle user information from time to time and may change this Policy as needed. If we change it, we will let you know through a notice in the App. If the recipients described in Section 5 change, we will obtain your consent.
